The Perfect Family

The family is a total amiss,

Dreaming of their perfect bliss.

Thinking that criticism is wrong,

Spending the day in misery, not song.

The shadows reaping on them, creeping in,

They don't see whats happen in.

The money, the things of the mortal world,

Begin to bring the family unfurled.

They strive to be perfect forgetting from where they came,

The jealousy towards others who don't have anything to gain.

The demise and torture of their fellow kin,

They thought would bring to them a satisfactory grin.

The rewards of those who continually despise,

Gave their parents their final prize.

Tragedy reeks through the floor board holes,

With the grace from God saving the lost souls.

Yet the sorrows of a loss of life,

Brings them closer through the strife.

Forgiveness concores an eye for an eye,

Sharing forgotten values the reason why.

The family is linked through the ancient blood of their veins,

After all is said and done, The Family Remains....
